Kate Sieck is a senior manager of the Harmonious Communities team within the Human-Centered AI (HCAI) division at Toyota Research Institute (TRI). She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from Emory University and has extensive experience in integrating social theory and context into the development of novel technologies. Dr. Sieck’s career includes leadership roles in the nonprofit sector at RAND Corporation, marketing, and consulting at OLSON and ReD Associates, as well as faculty positions at Emory and Stanford universities.
