Anthropology Day is coming up on February 15, 2024! This annual event celebrates the field of anthropology and gives anthropologists a chance to share what they do with the broader public.

About Anthro Day

Anthropology Day was launched by the American Anthropological Association (AAA) as a way to promote the field of anthropology to wider audiences beyond academia. It is held every year on the third Thursday of February. Participants across the globe host interactive talks, activities, exhibitions, and more to showcase the diversity of anthropology. The goal is to spread awareness of this fascinating field of study and inspire new interest within local communities.
